I'm not that punk
I may not dye my hair or have piercings in my cheek
I only get drunk maybe two-three times a week
I don't wear leather or rip holes in my new clothes
Threw away my combat boots when I outgrew the toes

I actually have a job, I don't live with my mom
and I don't mind it much, when the paycheck comes
how else would I expect to buy a new guitar
or pay my tab once I am finished at the bar

I don't know why I quit
Just for the fun of it
or maybe I just hit a wall
and when I reminesce
think about what I miss
I don't miss anything at all.
But everything after all turned out quite OK
And I still venture to do things in my own way
so go ahead you punk and say what you will say
you'll learn exactly what it means another day
